- 1 tablespoon oil
- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds

- 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1 teaspoon coriander powder
- 1/2 teaspoon garam masala
- 1/4 teaspoon red chili powder

- 1/2 cup peas
- 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
- 1/4 cup chopped cilantro leaves

- Heat the oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the cumin seeds and cook until they start to brown.

- Add the green chili (if using) and ginger-garlic and cook for a minute more.
- Add the tomatoes and cook until they are soft and mushy.
