AP EAPCET (Engineering, Agriculture, and Pharmacy Common Entrance Test), formerly known as EAMCET, is a common entrance examination conducted in the states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, India. It is held annually for students seeking admission into various undergraduate courses in engineering, pharmacy, and agriculture offered by colleges in these states.
The AP EAPCET exam is conducted by the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU), Kakinada, on behalf of the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) and the Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE).
The exam assesses the candidates’ knowledge and understanding in subjects such as Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology (for certain courses), and related topics. It is conducted in an online mode (computer-based test) consisting of multiple-choice questions.
The AP EAPCET 2023 result is expected to be released on June 14, 2023. Candidates will be able to check their results and download the scorecard from the official website. The minimum qualifying marks for the General category is 45%. The final seat allotment will be based on the merit in AP EAPCET 2023.
The counseling process for AP EAPCET 2023 will be conducted separately for the Engineering stream and the Agriculture & Pharmacy stream. It is anticipated to commence in the first week of July 2023. During counseling, candidates can exercise their preferences and select their desired colleges and courses based on their ranks.
